The seminar paper has covered the prominent aspects of university life portrayed in the novel. The Higher Education of Geetika Mehendiratta (1993) is one of the highest achievements of Anuradha Marwah Roy. The story pri-marily deals with university life, romantic attachments, heart breaks, marriage con-ditions of the protagonist Geetika Mehendiratta, but beyond that the novel is also about social-class, dowry issues, and the cultural dichotomy of Indian society. So, along with the theme of empowerment of women, the aspects of higher education and university life are also discussed in the paper. There are some subtle ideas conferred in the paper that would be useful to enhance our knowledge.
